Interior design of a break room in a company's offices

Il a été convenu avec le client de concevoir un espace dans l’esprit de la place d’un village. Nous avons réalisé un arbre comprenant du mobilier positionné au milieu de la pièce.
La structure de l'arbre, éclairée de l'intérieur, est en tôle perforée noire mate. L'habillage de la structure du tronc qui évoque son écorce, est réalisé avec des planches de Red Cedar sculpté. Le bois est huilé et les protections au sol sont en acier thermolaqué noir. Les plateaux sont en hêtre multiligne avec une finition vernis satiné et les crédences près des menuiseries extérieures en Plexiglass teinté. Des feuilles découpées autocollantes ont été posées sous les branches de l’arbre, ainsi qu’au sol et sur les vitrages.
Nous avons également mis en place un tableau Pixel art représentant la ville de Nantes, une boîte aux lettres sur pied jaune type La Poste (boîte à idées), une horloge coucou rouge et un baby-foot accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite.
Le cahier des charges comprenait également la conception et réalisation d'une palissade pour accueillir un rucher (environ 5 ruches) et d'un cabanon de rangement (matériel d'apiculture).
La palissade est en bois et en acier Corten. Les tôles en acier Corten ont été poinçonnées de façon à représenter une abeille pollinisant des fleurs. Le dessin du cabanon de rangement en bois sur pilotis d’environ 4 m² est inspiré d'une ruche. Il comporte ainsi une toiture en tôle pliée en acier galvanisé.

It was agreed with the client to design a space in the spirit of a village square. We created a central tree structure incorporating furniture positioned in the middle of the room.
The tree structure, lit from within, is made of matte black perforated metal. The cladding of the trunk structure, evoking bark, is crafted from sculpted Red Cedar boards. The wood is oiled, and the floor protections are in black powder-coated steel. The tabletops are made of multi-layer beech with a satin varnish finish, while the backsplashes near the exterior joinery are in tinted Plexiglass. Adhesive cut-out leaves were applied under the tree branches, as well as on the floor and glazing.
We also installed a pixel art panel depicting the city of Nantes, a yellow freestanding mailbox inspired by La Poste (suggestion box), a red cuckoo clock, and a foosball table accessible to people with reduced mobility.
The brief also included the design and construction of a fence to accommodate a beehive area (approximately 5 hives) and a storage shed for beekeeping equipment.
The fence is made of wood and Corten steel. The Corten steel sheets were perforated to depict a bee pollinating flowers. The design of the elevated wooden storage shed (approximately 4 m²) is inspired by a beehive, featuring a folded galvanized steel roof.
